Paste Fill

• Since 1995, Custom Concrete (Northern) has had a full time paste fill plant in operation at Kinross Mine, currently known as Porcupine Joint Venture, Hoyle Pond Division, in Timmins, Ontario.
• Old mine tailings are hauled from ponds to our plant where Portland cement is added to achieve the desired mix.  This unique blended product is then shipped back underground thereby improving structural conditions for present mining operations.
• This division operates up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week depending on mine requirements.
